Welly is home!

Last Sunday we brought home a 7 month old Dexter steer named Wellington. Dexters are “mini” cows that grow to around 40″ at the shoulder. They are an old Celtic breed from Ireland. They do have horns and his are growing. The brown cow in the pic is his mom, his dad is all black and terribly cute and affectionate. We plan to halter train him and, no, we are NOT going to eat him! Our 3 pygmy goats seem to get along pretty well with him so far.
