It’s a Crazy Life

So…it’s been a few years since I dropped off this blog. And things have been absolutely crazy. Synopsis:

-Had beautiful homebirth of our sweet boy Anthony.

-At 3 days, he was hospitalized (the drs freaked at his high RBC status due to the fact we delayed cutting his chord) for 2 weeks, during which time I had the nightmare of my rights as a parent taken away. Lost all trust in the medical community. Period.

-World of diapers & nursing. Repeat.

-Little League, new friends, parents moved to be closer to us. Business slowed at we stepped back to focus on family.

2015 was a Rollercoaster of a year. We had some wonderful times with friends, we went to Disney World (YES!), and had a boom of business growth that is even now increasing! On the flip side, we had to deal with other problem business owners and their dishonest ways (Honesty and kindness are SO important to me! The worst thing you can do is lie. Stealing from others and lying about it, just tops my list of evil. Karma will do its thing.) A funnel cloud hit our home, demolished our barn-in-progress, ripped off our roof, smashed windows, etc (luckily no one was home). The weeks afterward were even worse…psycho PETA fanatics reporting us for abusing our animals (even though we had no roof of our own) taking pictures of our home and the damage (saying this was our NORMAL state!) and posting it on social media. I was afraid for the well-being of my children and animals…it was a very scary time.

But in the darkness there is always a light. Great kindness was shown to us by many and continues to this day. We have been blessed beyond what we could have imagined. I have met even more amazing people and have taken away so many important lessons. 2015 was a year of lessons, patience, and importance.

2016 is already shaping up to be an amazing year of growth. We have many new facets of our business and this blog will soon be changing again. We will focus on what is now very much dear to me…natural remedies, including herbs and aromatherapy. We will continue to post about our farm, especially the growth of our apiary. Many new changes are coming and we hope that you will join us on our journey!

Health & Happiness!!!
