Super busy weekend and I am wiped out. I only get laryngitis when my energy is depleted to -0…which is where I am today, sounding like a frog, while my toddler wrecks the house.

I was in Norfolk at O’connor Brewing Co, for The Fair Trade Festival, throwing around body butter, soaps, oils…it was insane. We have not been able to do this event for the past 2 years, due to a little one (and really, I can’t concentrate with my kids hanging off me so even my oldest stayed home with grandparents.) It really was amazing to see how much the festival has evolved since that first one 6 years ago.

By 6pm on Saturday the festival was jamming, dancing, & rockin. I never really got a chance to take pics of everyone else, even with my hubby there. On Sunday, we were graciously allowed to double up our tables and so I used one for Roses Ridge and one for Young Living…along with a dear friend, Courtney, to help. We were busy!!!

My shelves are empty now, but my heart is full.

Today I’m on the couch not moving and diffusing Peppermint oil and putting Lemon oil in my water. Days 4 & 5 are 2 oils I use ALL the time. Peppermint oil is great for helping to breathe but also for sore muscles. Great in Christmasy blends, in coffee, and brownies! Yum! Also helps when you have upset tummy troubles.

Lemon is refreshing too…helps cut gunk (in my throat for today). Or get sticky labels off bottles, gum in hair, or grease on stove. I add it to my homemade cleaners and handsoap.

One of my favorite ways to use both of these oils is together on my vacuum filter before I clean. Makes the whole room smell fresh.

Again…these are both in my favorite gift. I’m going to grab a cup of tea and chill now. Have a peaceful Monday.
