The sights and sounds on the farm make me so thankful to be here.

But there is also SO much to do! Who needs a workout when I work outside!

My muscles are beat most nights now. I am so tired but its that good kind of tired…ya know?

I stacked this...all by myself!

Here is a sample of our spring to-do list: Stack wood Clean area for beehive Finish painting hive Reconfigure garden fence Make new raised beds Till the cabbage patch 🙂 (I just love saying that) Plant potatoes Start seedlings Till and plant our new bee garden Finish new chicken coop Repair old arbor Plant seedlings Till the front beds for corn & squash Repair screen on porch Clean & repaint porch Clear branches from front pecan (Hoping one day to afford a new roof on porch/back of house to replace it) Shear Annie Put up/repair shutters Paint peeling trim/doorways

That was just the outside condensed version. Then there is the declutter bombing of the inside and painting of everything. And washing the car and the dog and cleaning the pond….I could go on and on. A farmer’s work is never done but is rewarding!
