RSR Skin care – coming soon!

I have had many requests from people inquiring about buying soap! First off let me say thank you! But just to give everyone a heads up I am predicting a possible opening of our business not until around July 4th for a few reasons. Goats milk soap takes about a month to setup although we may have lotion and scrub before then. I also want to test out some of our canine products – an herbal shampoo and bug repellent on some furry friends :). Not to mention all the setup involved. A website is currently in the pipeline but may not be up until much further down the road. And for those that asked…you most certainly can come pick up your product in person 😉 but we will mail it to you too. But if you come here you may find yourself collecting eggs or scooping manure! Just kidding!

On a farm note we had a total of 10 chicks. Unfortunately our Bengal cat snuck past, attacked the cage, and killed one (in less than 30 seconds!) So now there are 9 and they are getting their feathers. Veggies are slow growing due to lack of rain up until recently. Hunter and I went strawberry picking and he stuffed himself silly and still wanted strawberry pie. He graduates from preschool the first week in June, wearing a little cap and gown :). He is growing up fast! Pete got a John Deer mower/tractor a few weeks ago and takes Hunter for rides around the property…soon he’ll probably be driving it himself! Yikes!
