A Year Gone By

I can’t believe a year has gone by since starting this blog. What a year it has been! A year of so many changes. Some were bad:getting laid off, passing of my oldest kitty, and the most recent – the changes in the health of my spine. But some changes were amazing…my new job, my new business, new neighbors, new friends. Learning experiences…trying to grow corn for the first time, incubating and raising baby chicks, regulating a wood stove. Some firsts….flying across the country, visiting San Diego, obtaining a business license, selling as a vendor (and really enjoying it!), Hunter’s first day of real school, riding in the back of a monster truck.(ok I know that last one was odd.) A lot of tears were shed but there were so many happy moments too. Everything was surrounded by change and my own personal struggle to let go of the fear of change. I can not wait to see what this year brings! Good or bad it is all part of the journey.
